Tom Nuzum, MS, PT, OCS, CSCS
Tom graduated from Grinnell College in 1994 and obtained his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis in 1996. He moved from pole vaulting in college to powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, and strongman competing locally, nationally, and internationally. He still is training and competing.
Professionally, Tom obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 1996. He became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2001. Tom was named one of America’s Top 100 Trainers by Men’s Journal. He is married with three daughters. Tom holds the TheraPlus record for burrito eating and the flagpole hold.
Carol Drummond
Carol graduated from what is now Truman State University. An All-American hurdler in college, Carol competed internationally in the summer biathlon. She is a former small business owner. She has two daughters. She enjoys showing Great Danes. Carol manages the front desk and support operations at TheraPlus. Carol holds the TheraPlus staff record for Ben and Jerry’s consumption.
Amy Auffenberg, PT
Amy graduated from Saint Louis University and has been practicing physical therapy since 1987. She is one of twelve siblings and has 27 cousins. She seems to be no more than two degrees of separation away from every client we have had at TheraPlus. She is the proud mother of a teenage daughter.
Aggie Hess, DPT, PT
Aggie graduated from University of Central Arkansas in 2016 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is a graduate of Rosati-Kain High School. She joined TheraPlus after practicing the past five years in Pacific and Creve Coeur. She has completed extra training and certifications in manual therapy and sports medicine including Blood Flow Restricted (BFR) Exercise and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). In her free time, Aggie enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 dogs. She loves watching movies, doing Crossfit, and working on home improvement projects.
Holly Nuzum
Holly is our therapy dog. She is a Certified Helper Dog from the Puppies for Parole program. She is here to provide you with an opportunity to sooth her with a solid scratch behind the ears and under the chin. You can follow her on instagram at lazydogholly.
