Welcome to TheraPlus Physical Therapy and Personal Training.  I am Tom Nuzum and I have been a practicing physical therapy since 1996. I have an owner-operated clinic that prides itself on the range of clients we serve and the amount of attention and interaction each client receives. TheraPlus is a roughly 2500 square foot clinic at the borders of Brentwood, Maplewood, and Richmond Heights in Saint Louis County.

Together, Amy and I have over sixty years of clinical experience and world class equipment to help you move better, feel better, and perform better.  We will strengthen what is weak, stretch what is tight, mobilize what is stiff, strengthen and tighten what is loose.  We will help you improve your movement quality, balance, endurance, fitness, and resilience so you can get back to pain-free life.

We don’t expect you to deadlift 1000 pounds. We want you to feel like you can.

We are a family and we want to be part of yours.  Our goal is to become your family physical therapist.  Amy and I want to be “your guy” or “your gal” when someone has a problem.  As in, “You need to go see my guy.”

We have families that we have treated eighteen members of their extended family.  We hope to do the same with you.

Our clients vary in their ages, backgrounds, and needs. Each client receives an individualized plan, attention, and instruction from Amy and I. We begin by assessing your strength, flexibility, joint mobility, pain, posture, endurance, balance, and movement patterns. Using this information we will develop a plan to improve your physical health and function.

When you call, Carol will find a time that works with your schedule, collect the necessary information, and check your insurance benefits.  We will determine and communicate what your costs will be to eliminate any surprises.
